NALDIC Conference – a first for Leeds

The 19th Annual NALDIC (National Association for Language Development in the Curriculum) conference was held at Leeds on Saturday November 26th. 200 delegates squeezed into the Clothworkers Centenary Concert Hall for the keynote and extra seminar rooms were needed to accommodate everybody for the workshops.

It is with deep sadness that the School of Education announces the sudden death of Professor Phil Scott on Friday 15 July 2011. Phil was a distinguished academic, excellent colleague and a good friend. He will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with his wife and family at this very difficult time.
