In this talk, I look at a relatively new form of practitioner research: Exploratory Practice (EP). Taking a critical stance, I probe the EP principles for practitioner research in an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) context: what are the issues involved in ‘fully inclusive practitioner research’? What are the challenges and opportunities for teachers and learners wishing to research their own practice?
