School scores highly in Student Satisfaction Survey
91% of Education students at Leeds are satisfied with teaching on their course, according to the 2012 National Student Survey. The University as a whole scored 90%, whilst Leeds' students’ union was ranked as one of the country’s best.
Overall satisfaction scores for the School of Education were 85%. The Universities scores improved in all seven categories of the Survey, overall satisfaction rose to 87%, with the greatest increase in assessment and feedback (up 4 percentage points) and the scores for academic support and personal development both up 3 percentage points.
The score of 90% for satisfaction with the students’ union, Leeds University Union, is significantly ahead of the 66% sector average and is the second highest in the Russell Group. Our library resources are ranked joint fifth in the Russell Group and our IT facilities joint sixth.
Leeds University Union, has long been known as one of the country's finest student unions and is the only one in the country to have won two gold standard awards for the Students’ Union Evaluation Initiative.
