The Brunel e-Learning 2.0 Conference is under way
Dr Maggie McPherson has given the keynote speech at the e-Learning 2.0 Conference hosted by Brunel Business School, part of Brunel University located in West London, United Kingdom. The conference, still in progress today, was also addressed by PGR student Gurmit Singh. The Fourth eLearning 2.0 conference aims to explore Technology-enhanced Learning in the context of Web 2.0 and social media including Twitter, Facebook, Blogs, Wikis and YouTube. It will be held on 7th and 8th June 2012 in Brunel Business School.
Themes include: evolving pedagogies for Web 2.0, security, privacy, social networking, podcasting, wikis, blogging, video sharing, screencasting, folksonomies, eLearning 2.0 and people with disabilities, the potential impact of eLearning 2.0 on the Third World, creativity and Web 2.0, Human-Computer Interaction, and Business.
It brings together international Education, Information Systems and Technology-enhanced Learning researchers and practitioners to participate in sharing ideas and to enjoy the exciting surroundings of the historical capital of the UK – London.
