The Study China Programme - a fantastic international opportunity for students

24 November 2014 | Sarah Redhead

Adding experience to a degree is extremely important for a student's personal development as well as enhancing future employability. Currently there is an opportunity to gain this kind of experience through The Study China Programme which allows participants to experience Chinese life, culture, language, arts and business.

Successful applicants will follow a three week timetable of activities in China with classes designed to develop Chinese language skills, knowledge of current economic climate, arts, history and culture.

We actively encourage our students to enrich their university experience by seizing opportunities such as this and we are delighted that one of our BA English, Language and Education students has already been offered a place.

The Programme is managed by The University of Manchester and funded by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. The UK government fund tuition fees, accommodation, organised trips and excursions (you will need to fund your airfare and spending money).

On-line applications will close on Friday 9 January 2015, although it may be closed prior to this date if all places have been filled so apply soon.
