Andrew Gunn appointed as WUN Visiting Researcher

4 May 2011 |

The School of Education is delighted to announce Andrew Gunn will be a World University Network (WUN) Visiting Researcher at the University of Auckland next academic year.  Andrew will be representing the University of Leeds as the first UK University WUN Visiting Researcher to go to the University of Auckland, as this university has only just joined WUN.  Andrew will be undertaking a research project on how contemporary developments in New Zealand Higher Education compare to those in the United Kingdom.

"This visit provides an excellent and unique opportunity as it will provide direct benefits to my own research" commented Andrew "Both Auckland and Leeds are large, international research-intensive universities with a great deal in common. This visit provides an opportunity to explore potential future collaboration between the two universities. I look forward to representing Leeds in New Zealand"
