ERSC Collaborative (CASE) Studentship in Mathematics Education

ESRC Collaborative (CASE) Studentship in Mathematics Education Professor John Monaghan and Dr John Threlfall have been successful in their bid for an ESRC Collaborative (CASE) Studentship 2008 and are pleased to be working with the National Centre for Excellence in Teaching Mathematics (NCETM) on this important project.

The project is titled ‘Technologies which enhance student engagement with mathematics and promote teacher continued professional development across key stages 2 and 3’. Please see project summary for details. John Monaghan and John Threlfall will act as supervisors to the successful candidate with Tony Shepherd (Yorkshire and Humberside director of the NCETM) providing an induction into the professional activities of the NCETM, Tony will also attend supervision meetings.
