Norwegian Visiting Professorship for Phil Scott
Professor Phil Scott has been appointed as Visiting Professor of Education to the Department of Physics at NTNU Trondheim, Norway, one of the leading science and technology universities in Scandinavia.
As part of the 5 year appointment Phil has just completed teaching the first phase of a Norwegian Science Education Doctoral School in Trondheim. In addition NTNU has just won substantial funding for a pan-Scandinavian school for science education doctoral students later in the Autumn. Both Phil and Professor Jim Donnelly will be involved in this event.
Congratulations to Phil and to Jim. This also marks out our leading position in science education nationally and internationally.
