New research funding in the TESOL area
Dr. Simon Borg been awarded (with Anne Burns, from Macquarie University, Sydney) US$20,000 by the TESOL International Research Foundation to study teachers’ beliefs & practices about the effective integration of grammar instruction in adult TESOL classrooms.
In addition, Simon has been invited to join TESOL's newly constituted Standing Committee on Research and asked to be the Judging Facilitator for this year's British Council Innovation Awards. Details at http://www.britishcouncil.org/learning-innovation-awards-management.htm.
