MA TESOL student wins British Council Award
Frederick Odhiambo from Kenya, currently an MA TESOL student at the School of Education and a Hormby Scholar, led a team which has just been awarded one of the two prestigious prizes given annually by the British Council for their English Language Contacts Scheme (ELTeCS). The project is entitled 'Writing in the Classroom in East Africa' and is a regional workshop for teachers of English in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania with the goal of curriculum review in this area.
