A new package of pastoral care measures has been designed as part of a partnership project funded by the Yorkshire and the Humber region of the TTA. The package aims to provide further support to initial teacher trainees in their role, thanks to an innovative collaboration between five Partnership Promotion Schools.
Calder High School in Calderdale, Dixons City Technology College in Bradford, Hayfield School in Doncaster, Minsthorpe Community college in Wakefield and All Saints School in York have been working together with the University of Leeds to identify the best areas for development, and have identified pastoral training as a common area for development.
They determined five key areas to focus on, with different schools taking responsibility for different projects, while working collaboratively to produce a support package for trainees and form tutors. Clicking on the school logos to the right will take you directly to their website.
