Who is the course for?
The course is open to all healthcare professionals who are involved in education and training as part of their current role.
So, are you:
- A pharmacist, nurse, midwife, doctor, dentist, radiographer, or allied healthcare professional involved in education in the clinical setting?
- Wishing to develop knowledge, skills, and research in clinical teaching?
- Looking for a postgraduate qualification?
- Wanting to fit your course in with part-time or full-time work?
- Looking for a programme of clinical teacher training for your staff?
Then the Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education or the Master of Education (Clinical Education) could be for you.
Entrance requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in a health related profession
- Entry on the appropriate professional register e.g.
- Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain
- Member of the Health Professions Council
- Entry on the appropriate parts of the NMC Register
- Member of the General Medical Council
- Member of the General Dental Council
- Minimum experience three years'; full-time (or equivalent part-time) in practice
- Involved in education and training as part of current role
