Yan Xian Yang's Story:
"The course has definitely improved my ability, my professional skills, and my understanding and awareness of English."
The MA TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) programme is designed to provide you with a rewarding experience in a lively intellectual and social community, as well as to deepen your understanding of current practices and research in TESOL and help you develop as a professional.
It will also extend your professional opportunities and enable you to contribute to the development of English language teaching in your local and wider context.
We provide extensive support for participants on this course, including writing workshops to help with your academic assignments, personal tutorials and even a forum for TESOL students to meet and discuss related issues and shared interests.
Who is the course for?
The course is for experienced TESOL professionals such as teachers, teacher trainers, language school directors, curriculum developers, inspectors, lecturers and materials writers.
We welcome UK and international applicants.
Take a look at the CLER for more information about our research centre in the field of language education.
