Christina's Story:
"The course is interesting and challenging"

This specialised MA programme addresses Primary, Secondary and Higher Level Mathematics Education and covers learning and teaching, as well as well as curriculum, assessment and research issues.

It addresses national and international developments, issues and research in Mathematics Education and considers the challenges faced by teachers, teacher-educators and advisors/inspectors concerned with the subject.

The course also has a broad base which allows for many specialisms to develop.

On completion of the course you will be able to apply a range of theoretical perspectives and research techniques to the evaluation of issues related to the subject, both in the UK and overseas.

Who is the course for?

This specialised MA programme has been designed to meet the needs of professionals working at all levels in Mathematics Education and is particularly suitable for international students.

It also aims to provide opportunities for the study of the whole range of mathematics education and to produce better informed and better qualified mathematics educators.
