This specialised MA in TESOL Teacher Education aims to provide those who teach teachers (or expect to do so in the near future) with access to an appropriate knowledge-base for this role, taking reference from growing literature on teacher knowledge and learning, and the pedagogies which support that learning.

On completion of the programme you will have a deeper understanding of what TESOL teachers need to learn and ways of understanding their learning process, as well as an awareness of models of programmes and methodologies which support teacher learning.

Who is the course for?

This programme is for candidates who are already or hope to be involved in TESOL teacher education, including experienced teachers, teacher-trainers, mentors, supervisors or other people in charge of staff development.

It is for the teachers of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages.

Take a look at the CLER for more information about our research centre in the field of language education.
