The BA in Educational Studies (TESOL) is a three year, part-time programme taught on Ministry of Education premises at regional centres in Oman and at the University of Leeds.

It is taught jointly by staff from the University staff and Ministry-appointed regional tutors and is aimed at practising teachers from across the Gulf.

The School of Education has a substantial contract with the Sultanate of Oman to develop a cadre of more than 1,000 Omani school teachers of English to degree level.

The Omani teachers study part-time in Oman on intensive winter and summer schools staffed by Leeds lecturers, and come to Leeds for one summer school, gaining their degree in BA Educational Studies (TESOL) after three years.

For further details of this programme please e-mail Cathy Martin, Support Officer.
