Feasibility / Baseline Studies for Guangdong Provincial/ Xiamen Municipal Education Bureau (to identify training needs deriving from educational reform expectation that English should be introduced at primary level and means by which such needs might be implemented).
Bahrain Ministry of Education
2001 onwards
Angi Malderez, Senior Lecturer in TESOL, was involved in providing training for a Ministry of Education-led project to develop an in-service mentoring scheme for the professional development of teachers within the State system.
Botswana Primary School Management Project
2000 onwards
Angi Malderez carried out a number of consultancies in Botswana for CfBT for the Department for International Development (DfID)-funded Primary School Management Project. Angi's work in Botswana involved materials design and development for the training of management trainers and mentors. It also involved external examining of the QAA-criteria assessed professional trainer portfolio.
