How to Join
Membership of the Institute is open to individuals and institutions with an interest in lifelong learning.
The Institute has four categories of membership:
- Academic experts at the University of Leeds;
- Postgraduate students at the University of Leeds;
- Individuals outside the University interested in lifelong learning;
- Organisations outside the University interested in lifelong learning.
Individual membership costs £25 per annum (£5 per annum for concessions).
Institutional membership costs £175 per annum. Institutional members are entitled to free entry for up to five individuals at our seminars and events.
Members of staff and postgraduates students of the University of Leeds are entitled to free membership.
To date we have over 250 members from the University of Leeds, other UK universities, FE colleges, career services, and a range of wider education and research networks.
