The impact of teacher education on pre-service English language teachers

This project followed a group of pre-service teachers of primary English at the Universitat de Barcelona.
Using a range of qualitative measures during the teachers’ final year of study, our goal was to examine the manner in which different teacher education experiences (i.e. a theoretical course at university and teaching practice in schools) impacted on these teachers’ conceptions of effective English language teaching.
